The Wolf and the Seven Kids
Once upon a time there was an old goat who had seven little kids and loved them with all her heart. One day she wanted to go into the forest to forage for food, so she called all seven of her kids to her. Children I have to go into the forest I want you all to be careful and watch out for the wolf, for if he comes, he will eat you all up. The wolf often disguises himself, but you will know him immediately by his rough voice and his black feet. The children told their mother that they would take good care of themselves don’t you worry about us.
