Little Red riding Hood:
Once upon a time, there was a good little girl who everyone liked, especially her grandmother, who made her a beautiful, red velvet cloak. Unfortunately, Little Red Riding Hood had a little problem with listening and following directions. One day, Little Red’s mother had a very important job for her.
“Little Red!” said her mother, “would you please bring this basket to your Grandmother? She isn’t feeling well, and this has some medicine and ginger ale and a piece of her favorite cake. Now don’t get distracted and wander off into the forest. Mind your manners, and don’t talk to strangers!” “Okay, mom!” replied Little Red.
As Little Red makes her way towards her Grandmother’s house, she didn’t know that there was a big bad wolf that was a liar and liked to eat little girls, lived in the woods as well.
Not so far away, the wolf had woken from his nap and he is starving. He proceeds to yell, “Oh, I am so very hungry. I wish there was a Chipotle nearby.” Suddenly, the wolf smells something tasty in the air. “Mmmm! I smell…. A girl!” the wolf shouted excitedly.
As Little Red made her way towards the wolf, the wolf asks her, “Hey, Little Red, where ya headed?” To that she replies, “Hello Mr. Wolf. I’m going to my Grandma’s house to bring her some stuff.” The wolf then asks, “Where does your grandma live, Little Red?”
Little Red began feeling suspicious, “Oh, she lives in the center of the woods.” The wolf then distracts Little Red by informing her of some beautiful flowers in a nearby meadow, “Hey, I’m sure your grandma would appreciate some pretty flowers. There’s some over there in that field.” His plan succeeds as he watches Little Red skip towards the field.
With the success of his plan, the wolf yells in excitement, “Now, off to grandmother’s house I go!”
When the wolf arrives at Grandmother’s house, he proceeds to impersonate Little Red. “It’s me, Little Red, your granddaughter!” says the wolf. Poor little Grandmother wasn’t strong enough to fight off the wolf. He then puts her in the closet to hide her from view.
The wolf emerges from the closet wearing Grandmother’s hat and as he sits on the bed, he hears a knock at the door. “Are you there, Grandma? It’s me, Little Red.” The wolf then impersonates Grandmother, “Come in!”
“I hope you’re ok! I brought you these flowers but… Oh, Grandma, what big ears you have!” she said. The wolf replies, “The better to hear you with, my dear.”
“What big, glowing eyes you have!” she said. “The better to see you with, my dear.”
Little Red shrieked, “What big, sharp teeth you have!”
“The better to eat you with, my dear!” screamed the wolf. The wolf jumps out of the bed and as he tries to close his mouth on Little Red, she suddenly throws a bottle of Ginger ale into his mouth!
The wolf begins gulping and groaned, “Ah! Bad gas, I feel like I’m going to explode. Out of my way, I need a bathroom!”
Just then, Grandmother was able to escape from the closet in which the wolf trapped her in. Excited, Little Red ran over to Grandmother, “Grandma! Are you okay?” Weakly, she replies, “I’m fine, I’m fine dearly! I’m just happy that mean old wolf didn’t get you.”
In the background, the wolf is yelling and puking all the ginger ale. He pleaded, “I’m sorry I tricked you Little Red. I was just so hungry! I haven’t had a good meal for days!”
Little Red insisted, “Oh, he says he’s sorry Grandma! Would it be ok if he stayed over for cookies and cartoons?” “Oh, okay, only if he promises to behave and not try to eat you” she said.
“Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I promise! Thank you guys, this is swell!” the wolf declared.
And so, Little Red, Grandma, and the Wolf ate cookies and watched cartoons for the rest of the day. THE END.
